GUIGUINTO, Bulacan – The provincial office of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) held a “Diskwento Caravan” to enable consumers to access affordable basic and prime commodities amid the health crisis.
In partnership with the local government unit of Guiguinto, DTI-Bulacan held the caravan with the theme “Presyong Panalo Para sa Mamimiling Pilipino” at the covered court of Barangay Tuktukan here from Wednesday to Friday.
It is also in line with this month’s celebration of Consumer Welfare Month.
A total of 23 exhibitors joined the caravan, offering rice, canned sardines, noodles, coffee, soap, vinegar, soy sauce, cooking oil, processed meat and fish, vegetables, and fruits.
Bottles of disinfectant, face masks, and face shields were also available.
DTI-Bulacan director-in-charge Ernani Dionisio said his office, in partnership with the local government of Guiguinto, ensured the safety and health of the exhibitors and buyers by strictly implementing health protocols. (PNA)
